“BOSS is Evolving and it Causing Havoc!”

Have you seen this line floating around on the internet? Maybe in one of our social media ads or an email? We hope you have because it's absolutely true! Let me explain. We are not changing who we are, or what we stand for, our heart has been and always will be to put control back in the hands of contractors. The change comes in how we are working to give you that control. If you have been on facebook in the last month you have probably seen one of our ads telling you the “Barrier to entry has been lowered!” and that's because we have slashed prices lower than we have ever done before. Why? Two good reasons. First, we realized that in many ways while our equipment is the same high quality, rugged equipment that we have always strived to produce we are constantly working to make improvements anywhere we can. We are constantly updating and tweaking the equipment to make everything last as long as possible, so by nature we are constantly evolving. Secondly, and more to the point, we realized that to make the biggest possible difference to Contractors trying to expand their business or start a new business we needed to provide a High quality, low price option in the market that doesn’t otherwise exist. So, we cut prices down as far as we possibly could to give contractors the best opportunity for success.

What is our Purpose?

I didn’t want the evolution to stop with pricing though. We have several more awesome changes coming up but I don’t want to spoil the surprise. Suffice it to say, we are working to bring BOSS closer than it's ever been before. I’ve said it before and it's still true now, my contractors are the reason why we do this. Our heart at BOSS, from the guy that answers the phone you call us at to the one operating the mill that makes the parts, is the same: We want to give you back the control. The control to buy your own equipment, run your own business, and forge your own path. We believe everyone that wants to build their own future should have the chance and we are here to give you the boost up you need to do that. For years equipment has been expensive and mostly for good reason, as it takes lots of time and money to develop, but the modern equipment we use today has been available for a while now and prices haven’t come down any in fact, they have mostly gone up. It forces those hoping to start in the industry to either have a large amount of capital, take out a large loan, or buy used equipment that will probably still cost a king’s ransom to bring up to good condition. This is where we saw an opportunity to offer contractors an option that has never been available before. New equipment, that makes no compromises, and that is still affordable.

How we give you More for Less

If you are skeptical right now I understand, I would be too but allow me to put your mind at ease. The industry as a whole for the last 20 or so years has been making incremental price increases that have slowly brought us to where we are now. To justify these price increases new features have slowly been added, some useful, some gimmicks. Where we fit into this equation is by figuring out how to build up these machines with only the parts and features that make a meaningful difference, using higher quality materials, and building as much of the entire package from raw materials ourselves as we can possibly manage. When you start eliminating steps between the raw materials and the final product you are able to trade cost for time. Additionally, we are able to have more control over the quality of the final product. This process has taken a lot of time, blood, sweat, and tears, but we feel like it has been worth the effort. Now we are able to pass on that quality at a lower price than others can offer and achieve our real goal; put control back into your hands. These aren’t just idle words either, ask our customers. I believe that we are on this planet with intention and a purpose. Our purpose is to give more for less. I believe that what we put out in the world we get back, so it's not hard to understand my motivation to give you the best opportunity, the best price, and the best equipment I can.
